although i have slightly veered from my interest in obesity research in my school work, the field will always hold a special place in my heart. a trip to greenpoint, the tippity-top of brooklyn, where we learned about a rooftop farm and its ability to allow the company holding residence underneath to receive tax credits and save on heating and cooling bills. we then brought the club to ovenly, where we devoured the infamous "brooklyn blackout cake," basically the antithesis of our club's emphasis on healthy eating. balance, apparently, is the theme of the hour.
